Intermediate girl took charge as one day collector for Ananthapur district : Firstly, in the state a school girl took charge as one day district collector. Ananthapur collector Chandrudu launched a program “Balike Bhavishyathu”.
Obviously, the main theme of this program is ‘Girl child is the future of Society‘. This made a girl as one day collector.
Further, district officials decided to give chance for a government School girl as one day collector.
Hence, they selected October 11 i.e. International girl child day to implement this.
Finally, they selected one day collector by lottery method from government school girls. The selected girl has to act as one day Collector.
Intermediate girl took charge as one day Collector
Finally, Intermediate girl from Garladinne Kasthurba school got this wonderful opportunity.
The girl name is Shravani. She is a daughter of a farmhand.
More over, it was the dream of thousands of people to become collector. So, She felt very happy for getting this rare honor.
Shravani adorned the chair of Ananthpur district Magistrate on International Girl child day
Next, collector Chandrudu and Joint collector Nishanth Kumar welcomed Shravani.
Also they asked her to adorn the chair of District Magistrate.
She wore a formal cotton saree and looked in a dignified manner.
RDT Hospital Director Vishal ferrer, the president of REDS, Bhanuja guided one day collector.
One day collector Signed on two files
Further, She said her priorities are child rights and animal Care. After complete study she signed on two important files.
Firstly she signed on a file to sanction compensation of RS.25,000. This amount sanctioned for victim of SC/ST atrocity case.
Secondly, she signed on a file which says no woman to be called for duty between 8 pm to 8 am. Because they have the responsibilities of family.
One day Municipal commissioner and other district officers
Not only one day collector but also one day Municipal commissioner, other officers also selected.
In the same way, K.Chinmayi, 10th class girl from Sarada school took charge as one day Municipal commissioner.

Particularly, She took a decision on adolscent girls problem. She focused on major problem that girl’s facing on menstrual days.
She asked to provide sufficient napkins and vending machines for napkins in schools.
A mechanic daughter B. Madhu sree as one day Joint collector revenue. Sameera as one day district Revenue officer.
And Sahasra as one day Joint collector development. All took the responsibilities and did well.
