Legendary Singer SP Balasubramaniam is no more. He died due to illness. The news of his death plunged the entire cine world into mourning.
Chennai: Leading playback singer SP Bala Subramaniam (74) died at the MGM Hospital in Chennai. MGM doctors announced on Thursday that his health condition was critical.
On Friday
On Friday that he had breathed his last. Doctors announced that SP Balu breathed his last at 1.04pm on Friday. Legendary Singer SP Balasubramaniam is no more.
SPB, who was hospitalized with Corona, recently recovered from Corona. However Health deteriorated further with the reversal of other health causes. On August 5, he joined MGM Healthcare in Chennai.
SP Balasubramaniam was born on June 4, 1946 in Konetammapeta, Nellore. His full name is Sripati Panditaradhyula Balasubramanian. His father’s name was Sripati Panditaradhyula Sambamurthy. Mother’s name is Shakuntalamma. The boy’s spouse’s name is Savitri. The boy’s names are Charan and Pallavi.

First national award
Balu’s fame crossed continents with the release of the movie ‘Shankarabharanam’ in 1980. He received his first national award with this film.
