These 6 new rules will come into effect from October 1. SBI Average Monthly Balance, Health Insurance Premium, Driving License etc. The new rules will come into result from Today.

Driving License

The issuing of uniform driving licenses and registration cards in the country will start from
October 1. The new driving license involves advanced features such as Quick Response – QR code, Near Field Communication – NFC. They store motorists’ details and penalties for up to 10 years in a centralized online database.

Credit cards

No more rebates if you use your credit card at petrol bunks anymore. Oil companies used to offer discounts on credit card, debit card and e-wallet payments to promote digital payments. These include no discounts on credit card payments from October 1st. You can get a discount if you pay by debit cards or wallets.

Loans

Personal loan, home loan, car loan interest rates will go down from October 1. With the
Reserve Bank of India-RBI directing us to launch new products through external interest rate benchmarks, we can get low interest loans.

SBI

State Bank of India-SBI will reduce the average monthly balance. From October 1, the average monthly balance will be Rs 3,000 at Metro and Urban Centers and Rs 1,000 at Rural Branches. Penalty of Rs.10 + GST of 50 per cent less than this, Rs.12 + GST of 50 to 75 per cent less and penalty of Rs.15 + GST of more than 75%.

Corporate tax

The corporate tax cut announced by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will come into effect from October 1.

Health Insurance

Health insurance premium prices are likely to go up from October 1. The premium price will also increase as more diseases are included in the health insurance policy. Previously 30 diseases were not covered in the health policy. Reduced them to 17. This is expected to increase health insurance premiums by 5 to 20 percent.
